Tired and ready for a break...SPRING break that is!

Good grief
...this semester is making me more and more tired with every day. I know everyone said that junior year was hard but SHEESH. I am just drained. Thank the LORD that next weekend is spring break. Hallelujah! Although it's not "spring" weather, I am still thankful. With the climax of my classes ahead of me and the anxiety of finding an internship eating at my everyday, I couldn't be more in need of some time off. My friends and I are going to the mountains for a couple days to relax and unwind. What are your spring break plans?? I wish I was going to the beach, but the amount of money my family would be spending to pay for me to go to the Bahamas or somewhere tropical that would actually be warm would be worth so much more if put towards living expenses for a big city internship or something of that sort. But if you're going, I'm extremely jealous.

In other news, my first post for INKED & SEWN went up this week! Jessica, the author of this splendid blog, is a fellow CollegeFashionista style guru and she asked a couple students from our internship if they wanted to guest blog with her and of course I gladly accepted! My first post was very short and sweet, but also very fun! I love giving people the idea to dress like a fashion icon on a college student budget. Check out my first INKED & SEWN post...
And speaking of CollegeFashionista, I had a great post go up this week. My lovely friend Allison who is always my go to girl when it comes to photography or anything related to that, graciously posed for my latest CF post and I thought it was perfect! Her outfit was adorable and I couldn't be more thankful for such an awesome friend who has such a sweet personality and is always willing to help me out. Check out her Tumblr HERE and read what I wrote about her fierce floppy hat right HERE...
And here is a little random idea of what I've been up to lately...
How is YOUR last week before break going??

InstagraMonday

Hello all!
It  has been a BUSY, BUSY, BUSY day! I have literally been doing work since 7:15 a.m until right now, and my clock reads 7:27 p.m. Do you know what that means?? I have been getting stuff done for 12 hours straight. Good grief. I know it seems illogical, but I've got to do what I've got to do!  I mean, I am paying for school so I guess I should do well. At least I know I am going to sleep splendidly tonight! If only I was living in Paris while doing all this work, it wouldn't seem half bad..
do it in paris
Hopefully studying will pay off during my Merchandising Math test tomorrow. So as I get back to my piles of books and notes, I shall leave you with some instagram photos that show you my "Waldina" look of the day in a couple random shots! What have you been up to on this eventful Monday?

Also, don't forget to check out my latest CollegeFashionista post: Get The Leather Look!

Let Me Just Say...

Let me just say... I am EXTREMELY excited for what the future has in store. Not only with my serious relationship and my friends and family, but with my career and my job opportunities. I sincerely feel like the path that I am on is headed in the right direction. No matter what life throws at me, I'm ready to face it head on and chase my dreams. Heart shaped dreams of living in a big city and working in fashion and LOVING what I do. I can't wait to see what's in store for me. It's exciting, isn't it?...Wondering what the future holds for each and every one of us??

(SIGH) I tend to wish my life away. But as I come down off my cloud, I wanted to share with all of you how my hair turned out! I chalked my hair this week and I adore the way it looks. Chic, simple and funky...the ideal combination! Here are some pictures of my hair experiment...
-the chalk I used
-my super frizzy top knot/bun
- finished product (I forgot to take more pictures so excuse my loser expression and frumpy t-shirt)

What do you think?? I loved it. So before you spend your time wishing your life away, make sure you give the chalked hair look a try! It's definitely worth it. Until the next post...
